University of Westminster

Westminster

Based in Central London, the University of Westminster is no more than a short walk from sites familiar to anyone who has ever read an English novel or seen a film set in London. As you walk south from the University’s headquarters on Regent Street, you’ll pass the restaurants of Soho, the elegant shopping of Bond Street, Piccadilly and Leicester Squares, on through Whitehall, Downing Street and the palaces of Westminster and finally to Hyde Park and Harrods. East is the Royal Opera House and Covent Garden. The University of Westminster offers one of the most cosmopolitan learning environments in the world. Westminster has four campuses in total. Three are smack in the middle of London’s famed West End: Cavendish, where the Schools of Bioscience, Life Sciences, and Electronics and Computer Science are located; Marylebone, which houses the Business School and the School of Architecture and the Built Environment; and Regent, where the School of Law and Departments of Psychology, Politics and International Relations, Social and Historical Studies, Modern and Applied Languages, and English and Linguistics are located. Harrow, the fourth campus, is in a beautiful parkland setting a 20-minute Tube ride from Central London. The School of Media, Arts and Design is located at Harrow as are certain departments within the Schools of Electronic and Computer Science and the Westminster Business School.
