Title: Director of Institutional Relations and Marketing



Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•    Relationship Management – Manage relationships with national institutions
•    Sales – Negotiate contracts for semester partnerships and short term programs
•    Marketing Management – Provide marketing and sales vision and oversight to all marketing efforts; lead all communications; print and web efforts; and manage databases
•    Public Relations – Coordinate external communications. Oversee the crisis management plan, as well as public announcements to students, parents, and advisors
•    Program Development – Oversee, monitor and supervise the development of short term programs in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Institutional Relations
•    Admissions – Collaborate with the Director of Student Services on enquiry and student application processes
•    Human Resources – Provide team leadership as part of senior management; set policies and strategic planning; supervise small team of professional staff
•    Travel – Some international travel; travel nationally for 8-10 weeks each semester

 

Qualifications:

 

• Master's degree in marketing, public relations, international relations or related field
• Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in marketing, public relations, collegiate admissions, sales or other related field
• Experience in preparing and managing budgets
• Understanding of the field of international education and current trends in education abroad
• Knowledge of European and/or African culture and higher education systems preferred
• Higher/international education work experience preferred
• Experience in Macintosh environment preferred
