interstudy students
take the same classes with the same faculty as host country students and have a wide range of academic choices. To find out
what courses are offered at which universities, please check the
individual program pages for available courses.

In order to provide the most up-to-date course details, interstudy has found it best to refer students directly to the course listings provided by each program institution. All course pre-registration is done through interstudy. Courses are chosen as part of the interstudy application. If you cannot find the courses you are looking for, please contact us and we can send you listings for specific courses via email. Students are free to select any preferred combination of courses from
the listings available on the individual program page. Provisional
selection should be made using the Pre-Selection grid on
the interstudy application.

The credits you earn on an interstudy programs should transfer back
to your home university and may count towards your degree. We think
it's important to ensure that you are on the right track even while
abroad.

When you apply to the interstudy program, you are asked to fill out
a couple of things. One is the The General Information section of the
application which shows you have approval from your home institution to
study abroad with us. Usually your Study Abroad advisor signs this, but
at some schools, where there is no study abroad office, your regular
academic advisor signs the form. This means your home institution knows
that you are going to study abroad and then return to regular classes the following semester.

Selection

Next, you will fill out the Course Pre-Selection section of the
interstudy application. This is where you will pre-register with
interstudy for your classes abroad. We ask that you select eight
choices for each program you are interested in to give you back up
selections just in case some of your courses are not available.*

You
can find classes for your program on the individual program page of
this site. As you select courses, print out the descriptions and bring
them in to your advisor. This way you can be sure in advance that the
courses you select will transfer accordingly. If you can't find the
course descriptions you want on-line, contact interstudy and we can get
you copies of the course catalog for the subjects you are interested in.

*As our programs are direct enrollment, changes in course offerings
can occur -- classes may not be running or conflicts in scheduling or
timetabling may crop up, just like at your home university. Therefore,
we cannot guarantee any courses 100%. We do all that we can to arrange
your courses before you arrive overseas, and if there is a specific
course that you absolutely have to have in order to graduate we often
can inquire with the University specifically. Individual arrangements
can be made for you to ensure that you get the classes you need. There is
always a standard Add/Drop period in which you can modify your course
choices once you arrive at your host institution.
