Cancellation Policy

Semester Students:

Once a student accepts an offer of admission by submitting the Acceptance Confirmation Form, the student is officially part of the Interstudy program and at this time Interstudy begins to make preparations for student arrival, including paying for tuition, housing and other components of the program.

To officially withdraw from the Interstudy program, students must send written confirmation to the Interstudy USA office. Students who do not inform Interstudy in writing of their withdrawal will be liable for payment of 100% of their program fees.

Withdrawal 45 or more days prior to published arrival date:100% of all fees due less the non-refundable $500 enrollment fee and $35 application fee.

Withdrawal 30-44 days prior to published arrival date: 75% refund of all fees due less the non-refundable $500 enrollment fee, $35 application fee,and any non-recoverable costs.

Withdrawal 15-29 days prior to published arrival date: 50% refund of all fees due less the non-refundable $500 enrollment fee, $35 application fee and any non-recoverable costs.

0-14 days prior to published arrival date (or students who fail to show up on the date of arrival): No Refund.

Summer Students:

If a student withdraws by notifying Interstudy in writing, the following refund schedule applies:

Withdrawal 45 or more days prior to published arrival date: 100% refund of all fees due less the non-refundable $250 enrollment fee and $35 application fee.

Withdrawal 30-44 days prior to published arrival date: 50% refund of all fees due less the non-refundable $250 enrollment fee, $35 application fee, and any non-recoverable costs.

Withdrawal 15-29 days prior to published arrival date: 25% refund of all fees due less the non-refundable $250 enrollment fee, $35 application fee, and any non-recoverable costs.

Withdrawal 0-14 days prior to published arrival date (or students who fail to show up on the date of arrival): No Refund.

Refund Policy For Full Year Students Leaving After One Semester:

If a student withdraws from the second semester of a full year program by notifying Interstudy in writing, the following refund schedule applies:

Withdrawal 45 or more days prior to published arrival date for the 2nd semester: 100% refund of all fees due for the 2nd semester.

Withdrawal 0-44 days prior to published arrival date for the 2nd semester (or students who fail to show up on the date of arrival): No Refund

Deferrals:

Students who accept an offer of admission and defer to another semester are subject to the same financial obligations as those who withdraw. Any fees paid may be applied to a future Interstudy program provided that the program begins within 12 months from the date of deferral.
